Baxi Manresa came into today’s Champions League group stage finale needing a winning margin of at least 17 points over Bertram Derthona in order to advance to the Group of 16. Behind Retin Obasohan’s 25 points and 10 assists, Manresa posted a 100-82 win to advance to the next round. 25 points, 10 assists, and 33 efficiency rating were all Champions League season highs for Obasohan, who played for Derthona last season.
Four games into his return from a blood clot issue, Christian Barmore is beginning to feel more like himself on the field.
Detroit has a lot of confidence that Jahmyr Gibbs can carry the load with his RB partner David Montgomery likely out for the season.
