Daily Recap – December 25, 2024

News

Najee Harris rushed for 74 yards today, putting him over the 1,000 yard mark for the 4th straight season. Harris is the first running back to rush for 1,000 or more yards in each of his first four seasons in the NFL since Chris Johnson in 2008-2011, and just the third overall to do so. Harris also joins Shaun Alexander as the only Alabama running backs to have four or more straight 1,000 yard seasons (Alexander had a 5-season stretch from 2001-2005). Harris is the 4th Alabama running back to reach the 1,000 yard mark this season (Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, and Jahmyr Gibbs are the others).

With 147 yards rushing today, Derrick Henry had his 8th 100-yard rushing game of the season. Henry scored his 16th touchdown of the season (14th rushing touchdown), which is a new Baltimore franchise record.
