Marlon Humphrey, Xavier McKinney, and Patrick Surtain II were named to Associated Press All-Pro First-Team, which was announced today. Derrick Henry was named to the Second-Team.

The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that Herb Jones has been diagnosed with a posterior labrum tear in his right shoulder, and is out indefinitely. Jones, who previously missed a month with an injury to the same shoulder, re-injured the shoulder in the Pelicans’ last game earlier this week.

Jalen Hurts has cleared concussion protocol and will be available to play in Philadelphia’s playoff game against Green Bay this weekend.

Nick Perry will reportedly be hired by Arkansas as a defensive backs coach. Perry is currently a defensive quality control assistant for the Seattle Seahawks.

Richard Hendrix is featured in the current print edition of Talegate Sports.

Michael Kessens, who was released by Paris yesterday at his request, signed today with ALBA Berlin of Germany’s BBL. Though he played sparingly this season, Kessens served as team captain with Paris. He’ll be returning to the league where he has spent the majority of his professional career. Kessens won’t be able to compete in EuroLeague play with Berlin since he was signed after the cut-off date.
