Keon Ellis led Sacramento with 27 points, with 22 coming in the first half, in the Kings’ road win in New Orleans. The 22 points were the most Ellis has ever scored in a single half.
Kira Lewis, who just returned to action this week after missing almost two months with a toe injury, scored a season-high 24 points off the bench, and also snagged a career-high 9 rebounds in Capital City’s win. Lewis also matched his season high with 5 assists, and shot 78% from the field.
Herb Jones underwent surgery today to repair a torn rotator cuff, the New Orleans Pelicans announced today. Jones will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season, but is expected to make a full recovery.
