Daily Recap – March 14, 2025

News

Justin Thomas tied the TPC Sawgrass record with a second-round 62 today to rebound nicely from yesterday’s 78. Thomas’ 16-shot turnaround was the biggest improvement from Round 1 to Round 2 in Players Championship history.

Andrew Pinckney, who homered in his first at-bat in today’s Spring Breakout, continues to beat the odds and show that he belongs among the Nationals’ top prospects.

Dalvin Tomlinson talks about his week prior to signing with the Arizona Cardinals.

Bobby Sprowl (baseball) and Madonna Thompson (women’s basketball), both former Alabama athletes who have been long-time coaches at Shelton State Community College, have been named to the NJCAA inaugural class of Legacy Award recipients.
