The Detroit Tigers have recalled Chase Lee from Triple-A Toledo, and the Tigers didn’t waste any time getting Lee into a game. Lee got the call from the pen with one out and a runner on first in the 8th inning. Lee coaxed Manny Machado to line into a 1-3 double play to end the inning. See clip below.

Peyton Wilson extended his hitting streak to 15 games with a leadoff double in the first inning. The twist tonight was that the double came off future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw, who was making a rehab start for Tulsa.
