Daily Recap – June 3, 2025

News

Former Alabama offensive lineman Steve Wright died Sunday in a long-term care facility in Augusta, Georgia at the age of 82. Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1964, Wright became the only player to play for both Paul “Bear” Bryant and Vince Lombardi. He would later become known as the model for the bronze statue awarded annually for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Dylan Smith, who had to wait three games after his call-up before finally making his major league debut, said that waiting wasn’t a problem. Smith also did a hard re-set this season and re-discovered his love for the game.

Calvin Ridley is already working to build chemistry with new Titan quarterback Cam Ward.
