Daily Recap – July 24, 2025

News

Montana Fouts and Lexi Kilfoyl are a part of the 60-player pool selected to participate in AUSL’s upcoming All-Star Cup. The All-Star Cup reverts back to AUSL’s traditional points-based model, where teams are re-drafted weekly. Cup play begins in early August.

Levi Randolph and Zenit Basketball Club of Russia’s VTB United League agreed to terms on a two-year deal. Zenit was runner-up in this year’s VTB competition. Randolph parted ways with Maccabi Tel Aviv last week after he and the team couldn’t agree to terms on a 2025-26 contract.

The Boston Celtics announced this afternoon that the team is waiving J.D. Davison. Boston signed Davidson to a non-guaranteed contract for the 2025-26 season late last month, so the move caught some by surprise, but the move gets Boston below the NBA’s “second apron,” which is a level that triggers more severe luxury taxes.
