Montana Fouts threw a complete game shutout to lead the AUSL Talons to a 1-0 championship-clinching win over the AUSL Bandits in the inaugural season of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League. Fouts struck out a season-high 7 batters, and recorded the first shutout pitched against the Bandits this season.
Minkah Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins have agreed to a restructured deal that converts $16.245 million of his current contract into a signing bonus. No additional years were added to the existing contract. Fitzpatrick and the team will continue to work on an extension.
Victor Johannson set a Swedish national record in the Men’s 400 Meter Freestyle, and finished 4th at the World Aquatics Championships.
Drew Sanders, who was carted off the practice field yesterday after a foot injury, is confirmed to have tendon damage in his right foot. While no decision on surgery has been made, Sanders will be sidelined a significant amount of time.
