Landon Dickerson, who suffered a knee injury at last night’s Philadelphia Eagles practice, received relatively good news today. An MRI today revealed some meniscus damage, and later reports indicated that Dickerson only needs a minor procedure, and will be week-to-week as he recovers.
David Robertson made his season debut tonight with the Philadelphia Phillies, marking the reliever’s 17th major league season. That’s the second-most major league seasons by an Alabama player in Major League Baseball (second to Luke Sewell’s 20 seasons), and most by any pitcher.
