Erin Routliffe and partner Gabriela Dabrowski advanced to the women’s doubles semifinals at the US Open after tough 3-set match today. Routliffe / Dabrowski uncharacteristically dropped the first set 6-0 before regrouping to take the final two sets.
Patrick Surtain II will be one of five NFL players that will be wearing a special gold patch on their uniforms this season. The five players are the winners of last year’s five major awards (Surtain won the Defensive Player of the Year award last season). The patch will take the place of the traditional NFL shield patch that is worn on the front neck of the jersey.
