Patrick Surtain II sustained a pectoral injury late in the first half of yesterday’s game, and is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. Surtain will be getting a second opinion this week.
Brandon Miller has been diagnosed with a left shoulder subluxation. Miller left a recent game in the second quarter after suffering the injury and has since missed a subsequent game. He’ll miss tomorrow’s game in Miami, and will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Charlotte on Wednesday.
Matt Foster was named Reliever of the Week in Liga Mexicana del Pacifico. Foster recorded saves in back-to-back-to-back games for first-place Hermosillo.
