In Memoriam – Woodrow Lowe
Woodrow Lowe, a three-time first-team All-American and an inductee of the College Football Hall of Fame, died today after a lengthy illness. Lowe, a standout at Alabama from 1972 through 1975, is one of only two former Crimson Tiders (along with Cornelius Bennett) to be named first-team All American three times. Lowe would be part of 4 SEC championship teams, along with a national championship in 1973. Lowe would go on to play for the San Diego Chargers for 11 seasons.
One of the all-time greats to wear the Crimson and White. Forever a legend.

News
Nick Dunlap shot an opening round 61 (-11) at the World Wide Technology Championship, and has a share of the first-round lead. Dunlap’s 61 tied a course record (later matched by Sami Valimaki) Dunlap becomes the youngest player to have multiple rounds of 61 or better on the PGA Tour since 1983. Dunlap’s other 61-or-lower round was a 60 in Round 3 at the American Express, an event which he won. Ironically, Dunlap surpasses Justin Thomas for youngest player with multiple rounds of 61 or lower.
Bryce Young, already an investor in the Portland Thorns, is joining the NWSL’s new Advisory Board, which is comprised of 20 former soccer players and other league investors. The board will help plan the league’s next era of growth.
