Bryce Young threw three touchdown passes, including two on fourth-down conversions, to lead the Carolina Panthers to a 31-28 win over the heavily-favored Los Angeles Rams. Young orchestrated a game-winning drive for the 11th time in his three-season career. Noteworthy in Young’s performance were the fourth-down conversions – Young is just the second quarterback in the last 10 years with multiple touchdown passes that traveled over 10 air yards on fourth down in a single game.
Minkah Fitzpatrick intercepted a potential game-tying two-point conversion, and returned the pass 98 yards to give the Miami Dolphins a 21-17 win over the New Orleans Saints. Fitzpatrick, who had 7 tackles on the day, also forced a fumble on a sack.
