Jamarion Miller and Justin Jefferson have accepted invitations to participate in the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl
Juwan Simpson has been named head football coach at Hazel Green High School in Madison County. Simpson, who had a stellar career in the Canadian Football League, most recently coached at East Mississippi Community College as an assistant.
Emil Ekiyor is expected to join Jon Sumrall’s staff at Florida in a to-be-determined capacity. Ekiyor was an offensive analyst at Georgia Tech this past season.
An Alabama judged has granted Jeremy Pruitt an injunction against the NCAA, preventing the organization from enforcing its show cause order placed on Pruitt’s employment opportunities. The NCAA implemented the six-year show cause order in 2023 as part of recruiting infractions found at Tennessee while Pruitt was head coach.
Though in absentia, Henry Ruggs was one of the graduates at the University of Alabama’s fall commencement on Saturday. Ruggs, who is serving a prison sentence for vehicular homicide in Nevada, completed his degree remotely and made the President’s List in his last semester. He is eligible for parole next August.
Community Outreach
Derrick Henry was one of the Baltimore Ravens who served local students by washing their feet and providing them with new shoes. The washing of feet is a long-standing tradition symbolizing humility and service to others.
