Derrick Henry has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 17. Henry has now won the award 10 times, which is 3rd-most all-time among running backs, behind only Barry Sanders and LaDanian Tomlinson (who won 11 times each). Henry was also voted FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week, and was also named the slightly-less serious Nickelodeon Valuable Player.
The Green Bay Packers claimed Trevon Diggs off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. Diggs will be eligible to play for Green Bay this weekend and into the playoffs. Diggs posted a farewell video on Instagram.
Georgia Tech is set to hire Vinnie Sunseri as its new safeties coach. The former Alabama defensive back most recently coached at Florida.
