Will Anderson has been named as a finalist for the AP Defensive Player of the Year. The winner will be announced at NFL Honors just prior to this year’s Super Bowl.
Zaay Green has been named Cypriot Division A Player of the Week for the past week. Green, in her debut with AEL Limassol, had a 27 point, 12 rebound, 7 assist, 4 steal game.
Community Outreach
Herb Jones hosted 25 selected students from New Orleans public schools to celebrate their achievements, and awarded each student with the Herb Jones Excellence Award, as well as a Microsoft Surface to assist in his or her studies. One student was give a $10,000 scholarship to continue studies.
