Mexico Rojo won the Caribbean Series championship in a wild 10th inning, which saw Rojo score two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning on wild pitches. Matt Foster pitched a scoreless 8th inning with Rojo leading 10-8, but Mexico Verde tied the game in the 9th inning with a two-run home run to send the championship game. Foster finished the week-long series wtih 3 holds and a save, and has now won two championships in the span of two weeks (previous was the Dominican Republic winter ball championship).
Brandon Miller extended his consecutively-made free throw streak to 43 straight free throws, which equals the second-longest streak in Charlotte Hornets history.
