Bud Cauley has been voted as the 2026 recipient of the Ben Hogan Award by the Golf Writers Association of America. The award goes to an individual who has continued to be active in golf despite a physical handicap or serious illness. Cauley suffered serious injuries as a result of an automobile accident in 2018, and missed three seasons due to lingering issues and surgical corrections as a result of the injuries.
