Nelson has appeared in 23 games for the Long Island Nets (G League) so far this season, and has averaged 11.0 points per game while playing in limited minutes (19 minutes per games). He is shooting over 55% from the field in G League play. Nelson got into tonight’s game, and recorded 4 assists and 2 blocks in 10 minutes of playing time.
The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that Keon Ellis fractured a finger in Wednesday night’s game. No timetable was given for how long Ellis would be out, but he was ruled out for tonight’s game after this morning’s shootaround.
