Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Eryk Anders. Anders defeated Brad Tavares by unanimous decision in a middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 114. After the fight, Anders announced his retirement from MMA fighting.


Runner-up this week is Enzo Aguiard. Aguiard won the singles title at the ITF event in Timaru, New Zealand, and defeated four seeded players en route to the championship. Aguiard has now won two singles titles in three weeks.
