Jaden Shackelford, playing in Valley Suns’ final game of the G League season, scored a career high 54 points to lead Valley to a 114-94 win over Mexico City. Shackelford also became the all-time leading scorer in Valley Suns history.

Ronnie Harrison will reportedly be signing a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. Harrison spent last season with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played both linebacker and safety.

Justin Knox has been named head basketball coach at Central High School in Tuscaloosa. Knox attended high school at Central through 2007, then spent three seasons at Alabama and a final season at North Carolina. Knox also played professional basketball in 2011-2023 in various countries in Europe and Asia.

Najee Harris, who missed almost all of the 2025 season with a torn achilles injury, is starting to take free agent visits. Harris visited with the Seattle Seahawks this week, and reportedly has a visit lined up with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Canon Claycomb, -14 and T-1st after regulation at the Atlantic National 2-Day on the Minor League Golf Tour, was declared co-champion after four playoff holes didn’t decide a champion. Claycomb birdied the final two holes today to force the playoff.

Eighteen Alabama players participated in the Alabama Pro Day today at the team’s indoor practice facility.
