The NWBA announced the Team USA rosters for this year’s IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships, which will be held in Ottawa, Canada in September. The women’s team will include Ixhelt Gonzalez, Bailey Moody, Abby Bauleke, Lindsey Zurbrugg, Arelle Middleton, and onetime Alabama Adapted Athlete Emily Oberst. Jared Arambula will particpate with the men’s team. Ryan Hynes will serve as an assistant coach for the women’s team, while Michael Auprince will serve in a similar role on the men’s side.
Polly Mack, entering this week as fourth alternate for the Mizuho Americas Open, won today’s qualifier to earn a tee time in this week’s LPGA Tour event.
