Jim Jarvis, in his second major league game, picked up his first hit as an Atlanta Brave. He becomes the first Alabama Baseball alumnus to record a major league hit since Alex Avila got a hit in his final game in October 2021.

Justin Thomas, with rounds of 67 and 68 at the Truist Championship, posted his lowest 36-hole score of the season (135). Thomas is T-3rd going into Round 3.
