Dylan Smith made his MLB season and San Francisco Giants debut today, as he was recalled by the Giants this morning and called into action later this afternoon. Smith was brought into the game with the Pittsburgh Pirates having already scored two runs in the 10th inning, and he retired two batters to get out of the inning without any further damage. The Giants would eventually win in 12 innings.
Polly Mack finished a season-best T-14th at the Mizuho Americas Open on the LPGA Tour. Mack started the week by winning the Monday qualifier to get into the event.
