Henry Ruggs has been denied parole by the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners. Ruggs, who is currently serving 3-10 years in prison for causing the death of a 23-year-old Las Vegas woman while driving intoxicated in 2021, was potentially eligible for parole in August. Ruggs can re-apply for parole in August 2027.
John Croyle has been named to the Alabama Business Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Croyle is being recognized for the founding of the successful Big Oak Ranch, a Christian ministry that serves children who have experiencd abuse, neglect, or other difficult circumstances.
Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell told reporters today that the Lions will take things slowly with Brian Branch’s recovery from an Achilles injury that ended Branch’s 2025 season. Branch is not expected back before training camp.
