In Memoriam – Mikhail Torrance

Former Alabama basketball star Mikhail Torrance died today at the age of 37. Torrance, a McDonalds All American in high school, finished his career at Alabama in 2010. During the draft process, Torrance was discovered to have a heart condition which caused him to go undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft, and later that summer, Torrance collapsed during a workout which temporarily halted his pursuit of a professional career. Torrance would eventually be cleared to resume his career professionally overseas, and played through 2015. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
