On the strength of 5 Taulia Tagovailoa touchdown passes, American Samoa upset the United States at the International Federation of American Football world flag football tournament. The loss was the USA’s first since in any game since 2014, and its first loss in the IFAF world tournament since 2012. The win puts American Samoa in position to potentially qualify for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
