Erin Routliffe and partner Jana Fett advanced to the finals of the Porto Open in Portugal, with a 6-1, 6-4 straight set semifinal win. Routliffe will play for her second title of 2020 tomorrow.
Couple of overseas leagues involving Alabama layers got underway today. In Japan, the B1 League, its top basketball league, started its new season. Richard Hendrix debuted with Niigata. In Spain, Division 1 Féminine started its new season, with Merel Van Dongen playing with Atlético Madrid in a 2-0 win.
Lee Hodges worked his way into the Top 10 at the Korn Ferry Tour event in Savannah. He’s 5 shots off the lead going into tomorrow’s final round.
