Collin Sexton suffered a sprained ankle in last night’s game, and was held out of tonight’s back-end of back-to-back games as a precaution. The DNP for Sexton is the first game he has missed in his NBA career. Sexton had appeared in 155 straight games, which included 145 straight starts, dating back to his NBA debut in November 2018.
In other Collin Sexton new, Young Bull announced the launch of a collection of Ghurka leather travel bags, bearing his signature and his “Move with a Purpose” slogan.

Amari Cooper announced on Instagram (later confirmed by the Dallas Cowboys) that he had his ankle scoped today. He’s expected to be fully recovered by the start of 2021 offseason activities.

Both Bradley Bozeman and Marlon Humphrey were mic’d up for last weekend’s game vs Cincinnati. Funny note: Bradley Bozeman hits Josh Bynes with an “Auburn sucks” in the middle of the game (around the 2:50 mark).

NFL Films captured some good banter between Minkah Fitzpatrick and Jarvis Landry from last Sunday’s game.

Ronnie Harrison was placed on the COVID-19 Reserve list today by Cleveland. He will miss the Browns’ playoff game this weekend.
Justin Thomas shot an opening round 65 (-8) to grab a share of the lead at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Thomas is the tournament’s defending champion, and also won in 2017.
Will Friend leaves South Carolina after 11 days, and has been named offensive line coach at Auburn. Friend most recently worked at Tennessee, and left for South Carolina to re-unite with Mike Bobo in late December (Friend had previously worked with Bobo at both Georgia and Colorado State). Friend and Bobo will now work together at Auburn.
USA Softball resumed a training window this week. Most of the team’s assistant coaches have obligations at their college posts, so Kelly Kretschman is filling in as an assistant coach for the team. Kretschman previously played in two Olympics, winning gold once and silver once.
Courtney Giddens will be serving as an assistant coach for the Anna Maria Aquanauts of the Florida Gulf Coast League softball summer league in the summer of 2021.
