In the semifinals of Supercopa de España, Atlético de Madrid defeated FC Barcelona 2-1 on penalty kicks. Merel Van Dongen opened the scoring for Atlético with a goal on a penalty kick at the 66-minute mark. Van Dongen would miss a shot during the penalty kicks, but Atlético still prevailed 3-1 in the penalty kick phase.

With two starting guards out tonight, Kira Lewis figures to get his first significant playing time for New Orleans tonight. At the half, Lewis had logged 10 minutes, scoring 5 points, with 2 rebounds and a block (will update after the game). Lewis hit his first career three-pointer and grabbed his first career rebounds.

Collin Sexton had an MRI on his ailing left ankle on Tuesday, Cleveland.com reports. The MRI showed “nothing new” and “no real concern,” according to the report. Sexton injured the ankle last week, and has missed the last four games.

In honor of Alabama’s national championship in football, the Korn Ferry Tour is doing a sweepstakes to give away a caddie bib that’s been signed by tour member Davis Riley.

Blake Sims is this week’s guest on the Riley and Constant Show.

Per his agent, Wade LeBlanc has healed from the stress fracture in his left elbow that shortened his 2020 season. LeBlanc, who is now a free agent, has been throwing throwing bullpen sessions and will likely throw in front of scouts in upcoming weeks.

Dalvin Tomlinson was listed as one of seven players to watch in the upcoming free agency period.

Lakareber Abe will take part in the inaugural Trailblazers Virtual Golf & Lifestyle Classic, a virtual event celebrating diversity in women’s golf. The virtual event, sponsored by PGD Global, will be held on February 23.
