Former Alabama linebacker Tyler Owens, who has served on Alabama’s strength and conditioning staff since graduating, was today named the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Arizona.
Former Alabama quarterback Andrew Zow has been hired by Clemson to serve in a player development role on Dabo Swinney’s staff. Zow will join a number of other former Alabama players on Sweeney’s staff. Zow has been a head coach at several Alabama high schools, most recently Sylacauga High School, where he went 7-3 this past season and made the playoffs.
Though nothing has been announced yet, it appears that former Alabama player and staffer (and 3rd generation legacy) Wes Neighbors will be joining Billy Napier’s staff at Louisiana in an on-field defensive coaching capacity. Neighbors is currently the safeties coach at South Florida.
