Olivia Fotopoulou broke a 19-year-old Cypriot national indoor record with a 23.85 second run in the 200m at a meet in Valencia, Spain today. Fotopoulou also won the 60m in 7.40 seconds, which qualified her for the European Indoor Championships.

Kira Lewis logged double-digit minutes for the third straight game for New Orleans tonight, and recorded a season-best 5 assists (as well as a number of other passes that led to fouls instead of baskets). In 54 minutes so far this season, Lewis has only one turnover.

Mack Wilson tackled Patrick Mahomes on an option play in the second half of today’s AFC Divisional Playoff. Mahomes suffered a concussion on the play when his head hit the turf, and didn’t return to the game. Wilson tweeted out his best wishes to Mahomes after the game.

The New Orleans Saints were eliminated from the NFL playoffs tonight, thus guaranteeing that an Alabama player will get a Super Bowl ring. Arinn Young (17 points) was Rhine River’s leading scorer in a 66-62 lost to Rahden yesterday.
