Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week – Levi Wallace (Jan 18)

Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Levi Wallace. With Baltimore in scoring position on the opening drive, Wallace sacked Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson for an 11 yard loss to set the tone for the Buffalo defense. Wallace would finish with 6 tackles, and the defense kept Baltimore out of the end zone all day. Buffalo advances to the conference championship for the first time since 1994.

Others of note:

Merel Van Dongen was part of the winning side for the Supercopa de España Femenina. She scored the team’s lone goal in the semifinal match.

Olivia Fotopoulou broke a 19-year Cyprus national indoor record in the 200m at a meet in Valencia, Spain. She would won both the 60m & 200m at the meet.

Krystal Rivers averaged 19 points in 2 straight set wins for Stuttgart.

Kira Lewis had a 10 point game off the bench, and would finish the week with a 7:1 assist/turnover ratio for the week.

JaMychal Green had a 15 point / 9 rebound game.

Mack Wilson had 5 tackles.
