According to multiple reports, the Baltimore Ravens will formally release Mark Ingram tomorrow, thus giving him a head-start on free agency (which would otherwise start in March). Ingram’s release will save the Ravens $5 million in cap relief for the 2021 season, and Ingram played sparingly down the stretch. Earlier in the evening, Ingram posted farewell messages on Twitter and Instagram.

Alabama linebacker Joshua McMillon, who was granted a sixth year of eligibility this season as a result of last year’s knee injury, announced tonight that he’ll be entering the NFL draft.

The San Francisco 49ers announced today that linebackers coach DeMeco Ryans has been promoted to defensive coordinator. The widely-expected move for the former Alabama star, who’s rising through the coaching ranks at a rapid pace.

The University of Tennessee fired head coach Jeremy Pruitt with cause today, as a result of recruiting violations that it claims were uncovered as a result of an internal investigation. Pruitt has already engaged counsel.

The Senior Bowl announced this morning that DeVonta Smith had accepted an invitation to participate in this year’s activities. Smith, who underwent finger surgery after last Monday’s championship game, will not play in the game, but will attend meetings and practices with the Dolphins’ coaching staff.

More All-Pro accolades for Derrick Henry and Minkah Fitzpatrick, as both were named to the Pro Football Writers of America’s All-NFL Team. Both were also named to the All-AFC Team.

Kira Lewis received praise from New Orleans coach Stan Van Gundy after last night’s win in Sacramento. Van Gundy on Lewis: “His future is really, really bright. He’s got the whole package – the speed and quickness, he can shoot, pass and he’s a great, high-character guy. He’s only going to get better because he wants to be coached. I’m really excited about his future.”

Buffalo Bills fans, known for making bulk contributions to opponents’ charitable foundations, made donations to the Bradley and Nikki Bozeman Foundation after Buffalo’s win over Baltimore on Saturday.

In what was apparently a multi-part interview with TMZ Sports, Quinnen Williams made his case for the New York Jets picking DeVonta Smith with the 2nd overall pick in the upcoming draft.
