Tua Tagovailoa officially launched the Tua Foundation today, with the stated purpose of supporting youth initiatives in Hawaii, Alabama, and south Florida. The Foundation announced grants to three organizations, including Big Oak Ranch, which was founded by John Croyle and is now run by executive director Brodie Croyle.

Tagovailoa also made media rounds today, appearing on both ESPN’s Get Up and NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.

Former Alabama baseballer Jay Shaw finished 5th at the Can-Am UTV King of the Hammers off-road race in the desert in Southern California. It was his first time racing in the event.

Add Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs to the list of athletes making the media rounds on behalf of sponsors. Jeudy did a wide-ranging interview with Uproxx that included a jab at Ruggs about losing a race at Alabama. Ruggs remembers it differently.
