Alabama hosted the first of two Pro Days today for players preparing for the draft, with the workout televised on both the NFL Network and the SEC Network. Participants included Mack Jones, Alex Leatherwood, Deonte Brown, Joshua McMillon, Christian Barmore, Patrick Surtain II, Miller Forristall, Thomas Fletcher, Carl Tucker, and Matt Womack. Several others, including Landon Dickerson, Najee Harris, DeVonta Smith, and Jaylen Waddle, were on hand to lend support. Some numbers, clips, and commentary from today’s activities.

Najee Harris, who was supposed to fly to Birmingham in time to join his former teammates for Pro Day today, had his flight canceled yesterday. Harris then rented a car and made the 9-hour drive to Tuscaloosa to lend support. Harris was not planning to participate in any of the workouts today.

The Denver Broncos declined Kareem Jackson‘s 2021 option early last week, but left the door open to re-signing the veteran at a more cap-friendly price. Today, the Broncos and Jackson agreed to a 1-year, $5 million contract for the 2021 season. Teammates are “ecstatic” about Jackson staying in Denver.

Ryan Anderson became the second former Alabama linebacker to sign a veteran salary benefit deal with the New York Giants, agreeing to a 1-year deal today.

Cam Robinson is looking forward to a fresh start in Jacksonville, as well as blocking for the future first-overall pick.

Wade LeBlanc has an opt-out clause with the Baltimore Orioles, starting on Wednesday. LeBlanc has a 24-hour window in which he can ask for his release or ask Baltimore to add him to the 40-man roster. Baltimore would then have 48 hours to make the necessary transactions to add LeBlanc to the roster.

Kira Lewis had season highs in points (16), assists (6), and blocks (2) tonight in a New Orleans win over the Lakers. Lewis was also a +21 and had no turnovers in 20 minutes of play.

Justin Thomas had his media availability in advance of tomorrow’s Dell Match Play.

Maruschka Waldus was named to the Westfield W-League’s Team of the Week for Round 13. Waldus had a decisive goal in Adelaide’s match on Sunday. Waldus also did an interview on an Adelaide radio station.
