We lost Alabama Basketball superfan and all-around great guy Cameron Luke Ratliff tonight. Today’s post will be abbreviated as a result, and we’ll have a separate post in tribute to Luke tomorrow.

Matt Foster saw his first high-leverage situation of the season tonight, as he came into a fifth inning with 2 on and none out. Foster proceeded to strike out Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, then induced Anthony Rendon into what should have been an inning-ending flyout that was dropped in right field. Foster then struck out Justin Upton to end the inning.
