The Los Angeles Sparks announced today that Jasmine Walker will miss the remainder of the 2021 season with a torn ACL, which she suffered in her second professional game last weekend. Walker was injured early in the second half.
Tua Tagovailoa met with the media today for the first time during Miami’s OTA’s. Tagovailoa touched on a wide range of topics, including his improving hip, his work this off-season, and challenges with the playbook last season.
- On off-field conditioning: “My focus is continuing to work on those things I couldn’t work on last year. Getting stronger and bettering myself with things off the field. Strength training and conditioning looks a lot differently than it did last year.”
- On his hip: “My hip feels 10 times better than it did last year. The confidence level I feel for myself, I feel very confident coming into my second year after that injury two years ago.”
- On the playbook: “I didn’t know the playbook really, really good. That’s no one else’s fault.”
