Wade LeBlanc continues to impress for the Round Rock Express, throwing 7 shutout innings tonight and striking out 8 batters. LeBlanc surrendered just three hits and a walk, and was an efficient 60/23 in strike/ball ratio.

The Pan-Cyprian Championships wrapped up yesterday, with Olivia Fotopoulou sweeping the 100m and 200m events (with a PB in the 200m of 23.38 seconds). Her twin sister Filippa Fotopoulou won the long jump championship.

Although he apparently made the decision months ago, Robert Howard tells SwimSwam.com that he has retired from competitive swimming. Howard’s absence from the psych sheets for next week’s Olympic trials prompted the question.
