While he had mathematically clinched a spot on the team weeks ago, Justin Thomas was officially announced today as a member of the US Men’s Golf Olympic Team today. Thomas was the top-ranked US golfer in the Olympic Golf Rankings (Dustin Johnson had previously indicated that he wouldn’t participate, so he wasn’t included in the rankings), and he’ll head a contingency of four American golfers to Tokyo.

Michael Kessens signed a 2-year contract with Telekom Baskets Bonn of Germany’s BBL today, ending his stint with the Fraport Skyliners.

Kira Lewis will host his inaugural basketball camp at Hazel Green High School on July 24. Registration details will be announced at a later date.

The International Swimming League is changing things up for Season Three, and holding a draft among its teams on June 29. Today, teams were allowed to announce five swimmers from Season Two that would be protected during the draft. The Toronto Titans announced today that they would be protecting Anton McKee.

The New England Patriots posted a video on Damien Harris’ football journey from Richmond, KY to the NFL.

Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said today that Spencer Turnbull would begin his throwing program this week in Lakeland. On an unrelated note, Turnbull also did an Instagram Live Q&A for Pitchers Nation.
