Here’s a Ruston, LA news report on Isaiah Buggs’ annual Fun Day, which was held in Ruston on Saturday.

Here are a couple of links to Fathers Day news features involving former Alabama baseball players. The first is from a Lansing, MI station, on Cobie Vance getting a visit from his parents over the weekend. The second, from WGN in Chicago, is on Chicago Dogs manager Butch Hobson having his son K.C. on the roster this season.

Kord Ferguson’s hometown station has a piece on his attempt to qualify for the Olympic team this week.

With the Olympic Golf Rankings concluding following the U.S. Open, Justin Thomas will officially be named to the Olympic team tomorrow.

Caroline Hardy (head coach of the Myakka City River Mocs) and Courtney Geddins (assistant coach of the Anna Maria Aquanauts) are both coaching in the Florida Gulf Coast League this summer. The softball summer league began play late last week.
