Add Shelby McEwen to the growing ranks of current or former Alabama athletes going to the Tokyo Olympics. McEwen finishes 3rd in the Men’s High Jump with a top jump of 2.30 meters to secure a spot on the Olympic team. This will be McEwen’s first Olympiad.

The St. Louis Cardinals announced this afternoon that Wade LeBlanc would get a start for the team tomorrow. Remains to be seen if the move into the rotation is permanent.

Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News caught up with Alabama baseball great Roberto Vaz, who’s son is playing in the College World Series finals.
