The Major League Baseball Draft resumed today, with four Alabama players selected in Rounds 2 through 6. That equaled the most Alabama players selected in the first 6 rounds of the major league draft in a single year. Drafted were the following:
- Peyton Wilson – Kansas City Royals (Rd 2B, 66th overall)
- Dylan Smith – Detroit Tigers (Rd 3, 74th overall)
- Chase Lee – Texas Rangers (Rd 6, 164th overall)
- Sam Praytor – Miami Marlins (Rd 6, 179th overall)

Chandler Avant has been named head baseball coach at Goshen High School.
Daphne High School head football coach Kenny King appeared at Baldwin County AHSAA Media Day today.
