Jonathan Allen, set to play out the 5th year option of his rookie contract in 2021, agreed to a contract extension with Washington today. Terms of the deal are reportedly a 4-year, $72 million contract with a $30 million signing bonus.

The Detroit Tigers announced the signing of Dylan Smith today. Smith’s signing bonus was $1,115,000, which was $270,800 over slot value of $844,200. Smith penned a thank you to Alabama on Instagram.

Landon Dickerson signed his 4-year rookie contract with the Philadelphia Eagles today. Contract calls for $8,656,675 over four years, including a signing bonus of $3,655,764. 

Rhyan White finished 4th in the finals of the Women’s 100m backstroke, equaling her personal best of 58.43 seconds. She’ll swim in the 200m back later in the week.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders, who placed Tim Williams on the Injured List with an ankle injury last Thursday, announced today that Williams suffered a torn Achilles tendon and is out for the season. Williams is the 5th member of the Roughriders to tear an Achilles since the beginning of camp.
