Joshua Primo, the youngest player in the NBA Draft was selected with the 12th overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs. Primo becomes the 3rd lottery pick in four years from Alabama, joining Collin Sexton (2018 draft) and Kira Lewis (2020 draft). Primo also becomes the 6th highest-drafted player in Alabama Basketball history.

Herb Jones was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 5th pick of the second round of the NBA Draft (35th pick overall). Jones will re-unite with Kira Lewis in New Orleans.

Jerry Jeudy addressed the Denver media today, and discussed what he worked on during the offseason.

Derrick Henry made his first media appearance of Titans camp, and talked about what to expect in Year 6.

Emma Talley shot a 67 (-6) in the opening round at the ISPS Handa World Invitational in Northern Ireland, and is one shot off the lead. Here are her post-round comments.

Shelby McEwen and Rhyan White both advanced to the finals of their respective events tonight at the Olympics. McEwen was 4th in his flight in the Men’s High Jump with a jump of 2.28 meters. White swam 2:07.28 in the semifinals of the Women’s 200m Backstroke to be seeded third in the finals.

Donta Hall has reportedly agreed to terms with AS Monaco of France’s Jeep Elite ProA League (its top division). Hall also had an offer from Unicaja of Spain.

Alex Reese has signed with Hübner Nyíregyháza of Hungary’s A Division for the upcoming 2021-22 season.

D.J. Fluker was placed on Injured Reserve today as a result of recent surgery to repair meniscus damage in his knee. He’ll be released with an injury settlement once he is healthy enough to resume playing.

Morgan McCullough extended his hitting streak to 9 games with another multi-hit game tonight. McCullough is 17-for-33 with 8 walks over the 9-game stretch.

Former Alabama Gymnastics All-American Gina Logan Quinlan is returning to campus as an assistant coach on Dana Duckworth’s staff. Quinlan has been involved in club gymnastics in the Dallas area prior to the hire.

Dre Kirkpatrick will reportedly work out for the San Francisco 49ers tomorrow.

The State of Wisconsin has officially named a bridge in Green Bay in honor of Bart Starr.

Ryan Kelly left Colts practice today with an elbow injury.
