Maruschka Waldus broke a 1-1 tie with a goal at the 66′ mark to lead PSV to its first-ever win in UEFA Women’s Champions League competition. PSV defeated Lokomotiv Moscow 3-1 in a WCL preliminary phase match. Waldus’ return to the Netherlands to play professionally was profiled in a Dutch publication today.

The Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins are holding joint practices this week. Calvin Ridley stood out against Miami’s talented secondary.

Alabama softball coach Patrick Murphy officially announced the hiring of Ryan Iamurri as an assistant coach. Iamurri was part of the 2012 national championship team.

ArDarius Stewart returned to practice today as a full participant for the first time since injuring his foot late in camp. He was on the injured list for Winnipeg’s first two games, but could be in line to make his CFL debut this weekend.

Ha-Ha Clinton Dix was a late signing by San Francisco, but he’s working hard to make a statement.

David Robertson made his first relief appearance with the Durham Bulls tonight. Not counting his recent Team USA work, the outing marked Robertson’s first affiliated ball appearance since April 2019, and his first minor league appearance since a rehab appearance with Scranton in 2012.
