News

Trey Mullinax maintained his lead after the second round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. In his post-round interview (see below), Mullinax spoke about playing through recent injuries, which included a bout with gout. He credited his family and his faith for getting him through some tough times this season.

Lee Hodges closed with a flurry today, making six birdies in seven holes in one stretch on the back nine to move into contention at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. Hodges’ back nine 30 was his second 30 on a side this season.

Justin Thomas shot another 67 at the PGA Tour Championship. He’s sitting in 4th place, but lost ground on leader Patrick Cantlay, and is now 7 strokes back.

Alexa Guarachi won her second round doubles match at the US Open, which equals her best performance at the US Open.

Kirani James finished second in the Men’s 400m at the Diamond League event in Brussels.

More laudatory pieces on Mac Jones, as the Boston media continue to look at his rise to the top of the QB depth chart.
