Merel Van Dongen was named to the Netherlands national team for two upcoming World Cup qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Iceland.

The Tennessee Titans restructured Julio Jones’ contract today, converting most of his 2021 base into a signing bonus, which freed up approximately $11 million in additional cap space.

Haylie McCleney was ranked 2nd in the Athletes Unlimited standings after Week 2, and as such, she gets to serve as a team captain for Week 3. It’s the first week in AU’s two seasons in which she has served as a team captain and drafted a team.

Casey Cobb had a career-high 5 strikeouts in 2 innings of work for Greenville tonight.

Jalen Hurts takes a philosophical approach to being a team leader.

Mac Jones was interviewed on WEEI’s Merloni & Fauria today, and dropped all sorts of nuggets, including that his girlfriend helps him out with the Patriot playbook by doing walkthroughs in the backyard. On being named starter, Jones said “It’s a great opportunity and something I always wanted … but a label is a label. You’ve got to produce.”

O.J. Howard addressed the Tampa Bay media today.
