Trevon Diggs was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September. Diggs finished the month leading the NFL in passes broken up with six, and his three interceptions is tied for the league lead.
Golf Channel reported today that Jim “Bones” Mackay will be replacing Jimmy Johnson as Justin Thomas’ caddie. In a social media post, Thomas confirmed later in the day that Johnson advised him after the Ryder Cup that he was ready to pursue other opportunities. Johnson has been Thomas’ caddie since he joined the tour in 2015, and has been on the bag for all but one of Thomas’ 14 professional wins. Ironically, Mackay filled in for Johnson for that win.
Baltimore area restaurant EC Diner has debuted a new menu to benefit the Bradley and Nikki Bozeman Foundation.

Josh Jacobs returned to practice today after having missed the last two games with an ankle injury.
Donta Hall made his AS Monaco debut today in the team’s EuroLeague opener. Hall had 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just under 10 minutes of play in Monaco’s win.

Media Appearances
Derrick Henry spoke with the press today, and discussed the challenges that the Jets’ defensive front will present this coming week. Henry also isn’t concerned about his workload.
Ryan Kelly met with the Indianapolis media, and noted that Wednesday’s practice was one of the most physical ones since he’s been in Indianapolis.
Trevon Diggs spoke to the media today, and expressed gratitude for his Defensive Player of the Month today. He also dropped a “rat poison” reference in regard to reading too much praise online.
Amari Cooper also met the the Dallas media, and talked about the offense building more confidence following last week’s win. He also says that his cracked ribs feel much better.
